Lindsey Vonn puts live squirrel on the shoulder of Tiger Woods at Presidents Cup

Athletes by trade have a lot of superstitions, and that is definitely apparent in golf. Tiger Woods wears red on Sundays, a lot of golfers mark their ball with the same side of the coin, and then there is Keegan Bradley and his walk-stop-walk routine before every shot.

Assistant captain Davis Love III isn’t against superstitions, and that’s why you saw him holding a baby squirrel for most of the Thursday four-ball matches.

Apparently after Love started handling the squirrel the American team wasn’t losing a single match, so he held on to the furry creature for most of the day, and Tiger got pranked the best.

After being called “Carlton” from “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” to his face by playing partner Matt Kuchar, his own girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn, took Sammy from Love and put it on Tiger’s back, but it didn’t exactly hold as Woods brushed it off as he was watching the final matches conclude.

Who knows if the squirrel will be around on Friday as the International team ended up winning 2.5 points on Thursday and trail the Americans by just a single point, but it definitely got to touch a lot of famous golfers on Thursday at the Presidents Cup.
