I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Arizona because that seems to be all there is out there. I wouldn’t be surprised if the city of Tucson alone had more golf courses than the entirety of any other state.
I also think it might be Florida since it’s full of retirees. Plus, unlike Arizona, Florida pretty much keeps itself fertile and green and gives itself plenty of rain, thus making it easier to maintain.
I don’t know but maybe you do.

The state with the most golf courses is Florida (1,216) followed by California with 1,007. And then Arizona, Texas and New York.

Florida makes the most sense, because the majority of the players being seniors, and a lot of Seniors live in Florida. California also makes sense because of it’s millions of people and it’s giant area mass, there are bound to be tons of golf courses.
