The state with the most golf courses is Florida (1,216) followed by California with 1,007. And then Arizona, Texas and New York.

Florida makes the most sense, because the majority of the players being seniors, and a lot of Seniors live in Florida. California also makes sense because of it's millions of people and it's giant area mass, there are bound to be tons of golf courses.
