QUESTION:
I was playing golf for the very first time the other day on a 9-hole course with a par of 30. I ended the day with a total of 45 shots. I would like to start golfing at least once a week from now on to satisfy my growing interest in the sport. I was just wondering though, is this an okay score for a first time ever golf game?
Just like to add that I have never picked up a set of irons in my life before.

That is almost exactly what my score was starting out golfing. On a par 72 course I usually shot around 100-108. So thats about +15 for each 9holes.. Keep practicing. Go to the range whenever possible and play once a week. Now I shoot low 90’s and getting better.
