Q&A: What should a woman wear to a golf tournament?

QUESTION: I'm going to a golf tournament at a high end country club in the Palm Springs, California area. I expect the weather to be about 110 degrees. Yikes! I want to be comfortable, but also look polished. Would it be taboo to wear a casual skirt or dress? Thanks for the advice... .I've never even set foot on a golf course before this! ANSWER:
