Much of the problem depends upon the starting time policy of the particular club. There are very few cancellations and late arrivals at private country clubs. Many have the policy that " no shows" and " late arrivals" will forfeit future requests for a given period of time. As for the public courses, the longer the sign up period the more " no shows ". Late arrivals are usually denied access for that day.From practical experience, such violations are infrequent.
