Q&A: How do you typically watch golf in person?

QUESTION: Do you have to go at a certain time, or can you go later? Do you pick a golfer to follow, and follow him around the golf course? Or do you rather pick a hole, and watch the different golfers play that hole? I have never even set foot on a golf course before, so any information is appreciated. How does all that stuff work?
