QUESTION:
I know that some clubs may charge $ 1000’s of dollars for a peice of paper and a card saying that you can play on that course for 12 months as much as you like. And play in the weekend comp where you still have to pay a small fee to join.
Why would you pay even $ 500?
Are there any members of golf courses on here who can tell me why they took out membership?
ANSWER:
Answer by nun_ya
It depends on how often you plan on golfing that year. If you plan on playing a lot, the membership would save you $ in the long run. Plus, most clubs have members-only tournaments and social events.
