QUESTION:
The house I am living in is about half a mile from a golf course and we keep finding golf balls in the yard. So the obvious thing to think is that they are coming from the golf course, but that seems almost impossible that the golf balls could travel that far to me. Is it possible?
ANSWER:
Answer by Robert S
The furthest a golf ball flies when struck by golfer is approximately 400 yards. And that would be a extremely long shot. Most likely someone in your neighborhood is practicing and those practice balls are ending up in your yard.Is it possible ?Yes.Is it likely? No
