Is 32 a decent golf handicap? Do you think taking classes may help me to improve my game?

QUESTION: My handicap is 32. I don't get to play much so I guess it's ok for the time I spent in golf. My dad says I can get to 24 with more practice and some classes. What do you think? ANSWER:

32 is almost double bogey golf.... that is getting into triple digit scores.... which is pretty bad. A decenct handicap would be bogey golf... about an 18. Anything below 9 would be considered a pretty good handicap.
