How do you make shot counters with beads for keeping track of shots on a hole for golf?

they are so you can slide beads back and forth depending on your number of strokes/hits and my golf team wanted to make them. any suggestions?

My mom has one of these on her golf bag. To make one I would think is fairly simple, a piece of string and some beads.

Tie a knot on one end of the string, put the beads in and then knot the other end with some string left over to tie on your bag.

The one thing I would say is to make sure that the string is almost too big to fit through the beads so that the beads stay in place. It won’t do much good to track your score if the beads always fall together. My mom’s also has like the 5th bead a different color. If you are a golf team I would recommend making it the 4th bead as that would be the usual par.
