How do you fasten a golf bag to a golf cart correctly?

QUESTION: I feel stupid asking this but I just got a job at a very wealthy, nice country club (best in area) as a bag room attendant. I have to do a variety of tasks but one of them includes putting golf bags on golf carts for the members. I'm just wondering if there is a certain way to do this such as which way the bag faces, etc. Thanks. ANSWER:

Place it where the longer clubs are in the back as you are facing the cart. Also, be sure the bag is securely fastened in. I have had my clubs fall off (and I have seen other do it too) once the cart starts moving. If the bag has a putter well on the outside, be sure the strap does not imped getting the putter out easily.
