How Do I Go About Getting a Job at a Golf Course?

QUESTION: Hi, I'm 17, male, and am very much interested in the sport of Golf. However, i don't have nearly enough money to become a member at the golf course down the road. Would it be a smart idea to try and get a job there in order to acquire free playing time? If so, what would be the best way to go about it?
