depends on where you live. Clubs can cost a mint, and playing depending on what course can be expensive as well. Let's just say that there are cheaper sports out there.
That being said, you don't need to spend an arm and a leg to go out and enjoy the game and yourself. Stay within your budget and have fun, even though Einstein said is a good walk spoiled, I absolutely the fresh air, sunshine, green grass and wild life.
and most courses have a golf pro where you can take lessons from. Even inquire about group lessons, (they are cheaper)
