Does the golf swish drill generate more distance off the tee?

QUESTION: I thought it slows your swing speed down, because the club feels heavier, and why do they make weighted golf clubs that say that it increases your swing speed? One or all must be wrong. Thanks. ANSWER:

Yes, it definitely does. I do the swish drill every day for the past week and can hit 50 yards farther!
