can a damaged golf hosel affect performance?

QUESTION: Well i wouldnt neccessarily say it is damaged, however my wedges hosel is slightly chipped just very slightly. Consequently, will this affect the performance of this golf club? Thanks. ANSWER:

as long as it isn't bent or cracked right through you should have no problems with it.
