It was a solid opening round for Tiger Woods on Thursday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. In his seven previous wins at Bay Hill, Tiger's opening round scoring average was 69.14, so he did just a touch better on Thursday with his 3-under 69.
The best part of his day came on the par-5 16th, his seventh hole of the day, when Woods had just 150-yards left on the short par-5 and took full advantage.

The eagle got him to 3-under early in his round, and after two straight bogeys on the 17th and 18th, was able to play his inward nine holes 2-under.
Woods currently trails leader and playing partner Justin Rose by four shots.
