John Daly and Myrtle Beach go together like peanut butter and jelly. The two-time major winner loves the town, and the town and its golf-fueled economy love him back.

So, Daly was in town on Monday for the annual Monday After the Masters, which is a celebrity-driven golf tournament featuring former Hootie and the Blowfish front man Darius Rucker, and he displayed his ability to grip it and rip it — a driver and a beer can, at once.

A barefoot Daly teed up his ball on a beer can, then he smashed that ball with his driver, winding up the whole thing by chugging that beer-slash-tee in the space of 7 seconds.

For years, Daly has made a trip to Augusta for the Masters to sell merchandise, sign autographs and make personal appearances.
