First round matches don't get much more entertaining than what happened between Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry. Two friends from across the pond, McIlroy and Lowry both had to hole a few shots from off the green to either keep themselves in a hole or win it.
McIlroy did it early, but it was what Lowry did later in the match that gave him the huge advantage. Lowry of course beat McIlroy in the first round of the Accenture Match Play, meaning the No. 1 overall seed in this week's WGC event will be watching the rest of the matches from a couch somewhere far, far away from Marana, Ariz.
