U.S. Open week is but a week away, and while golf’s longest day might be kicking off this Monday, most of the names we’ve come to know in the golf world are already in the field at Merion.
The odds for the second major of 2013 have been updated over at golfodds.com, and Tiger Woods is still the clear favorite to win his 15th major championship but his odds have loosened up a bit.
A month ago Tiger was a 7/2 favorite at Merion, but after his play at the Memorial this past week where he shot 8-over for the tournament, good enough for a T-65, he moved to a 9/2 favorite. Rory McIlroy, who also struggled at Muirfield Village, finishing T-57, is a 15/1 favorite to win his third major championship while Memorial champion Matt Kuchar has moved up to 20/1 to win his first major at Merion.
The rest of the odds are after the jump. What value do you see on the board?
