Tiger Woods makes 91-foot putt, posts 73 in second round at Doral

It hasn’t exactly been the start to the season that Tiger Woods wanted, but even when things are going bad it’s nice to pull off a shot or two that brings you back the next day.

Woods had that happen on Friday at the Cadillac Championship, making the longest recorded putt in the last five years on the PGA Tour with this 91-foot bomb at the par-3 4th hole.

The putt was insane, going in like he hit it from just a foot out, and his reaction might have been better in conditions at Doral that were nearly unplayable for the best in the world.

His second round ended with five bogeys, four birdies and a 1-over 73 that moved him up 28 spots on the leaderboard if you needed to know just how tough it was on Friday.

Tiger now sits only six shots back of Patrick Reed, Dustin Johnson, Matt Kuchar and Hunter Mahan and a good Saturday round like he had a week ago at the Honda Classic would get him right back in this tournament with one round to go.
