Sergio Garcia’s caddie, and girlfriend, ‘fired’ him with perfect winning percentage

Their personal relationship is still intact, but the business relationship between Sergio Garcia and girlfriend Katharina Boehm is done for now with a perfect team winning percentage.

Boehm, a former collegiate golfer at the College of Charleston, decided to loop for Garcia at the Thailand Golf Championship a month ago with Garcia eventually winning the tournament, his first worldwide win in over a year, but the two have split on Boehm's terms according to Garcia.

"I wanted to keep going, but she fired me," Garcia joked this week at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club. "It was something she wanted to do since we started dating, and I thought that would be a good week, being the end of the year and maybe a little bit more relaxed."

The two not only brought a win to Sergio, who desperately needed one, but they brought us this picture that you don't normally see between a player and caddie after a big win.

Garcia now has Neil Wallace on the bag this week and the two struggled to an opening round 76 on Thursday in Abu Dhabi, but I'm sure once the rust fades from Garcia's early season game he will be back to form and hopefully back to competing in the big tournaments.
