Ryder Cup: A Brooks Koepka drive landed on the backpack of his opponent's dad

The thing about the Ryder Cup is, they let just about anyone inside the ropes: team captains, co-captains, media, masseuses, dog walkers, even parents.

Brooks Koepka found one of those on the par-4 fifth.

At 314 yards, it’s easily driveable for the big hitters. Koepka’s tee shot veered slightly left, took a bounce and … found the backpack of European player Thomas Pieters’ dad.

No harm, no foul. And Thomas Pieters was hardly rattled. He drove the green and nailed the eagle putt to put his team up.
