Russell Henley's Masters slam dunk forced Augusta Nat'l to cut a new cup

Russell Henley took dead aim on Sunday at the par-4 fifth in the final round of the Masters, slam-dunking his approach shot for an eagle 2.

However, the ball came in with so much speed that it collided with the cup and the flagstick, damaging the original cup.

That damage meant Augusta National officials had to come out and have the cup re-cut by ground staff. They removed the old cup, dug out some of the left over dirt and re-cut it. They then put the cup liner back into the ground and used some white spray paint to make sure the dirt above the cup but before the surface was also painted white.

Henley was long gone by the time the hole was fixed, but the deuce got him to 1 under on his round.
