I’ll be honest, there isn’t a lot of context to where this clip came from. I’m not sure if it’s during the Golf Channel’s airing of the Arnold Palmer Invitational Pro-Am or the first round coverage (by the looks of his shirt today, this was from Wednesday), but Steve Sands caught up with Phil Mickelson and that’s where the video kicks off.
The conversation moves to “dumb questions,” and while Phil ribs Sands a little (the two have a past), he explains that it isn’t the dumbest question he’s been asked. That honor goes to a gentleman that works for MasterCard, who asked Phil a question that most would consider rhetorical.
The language of the above video is NSFW, but trust me, it’s worth watching to hear what Mickelson thought of the Augusta National question.
