Lindsey Vonn calls Tiger Woods ‘dorky-goofy’ during her Katie Couric interview

If there is one thing we know about Tiger Woods, it’s the man will cut you off at a drop of a hat if you cross him, but apparently that doesn’t exactly hold true if you’re dating him.

Lindsey Vonn, Tiger’s girlfriend, visited Katie Couric and was asked, simply, what is Tiger like? Vonn answered with plenty of compliments, saying he is “funny, laid-back, a great guy, always making jokes, very competitive … if there is one thing I can say, it’s he’s funny, he’s goofy, like dorky-goofy.”

Vonn followed that up by saying, “He’s probably not going to be that excited that I just said that,” which is true if you look back at the history of Tiger. That said, I think anyone that has watched golf closely this year has seen a more laid-back Woods, and considering he didn’t lose it over Vonn putting a live squirrel on his shoulder during the Presidents Cup, his new approach to all things could be attributed to Vonn.

Also, Couric probably shouldn’t be as shocked by the “dorky-goofy” label that Tiger landed considering his college teammates used to refer to him as “Urkel” during his time at Stanford.
