Keegan Bradley, Tiger Woods within striking distance of Graeme McDowell at World Challenge

Graeme McDowell’s two shots clear of the field at the World Challenge after three rounds and has looked nearly unbeatable after posting his 11th consecutive round under par at the event. The U.S. Open champion appears to be a lock to win at Sherwood, but as we’ve seen countless times this year, holding the lead going into Sunday can be a death wish.

That’s why GMac may want to keep an eye on a guy by the name of Tiger Woods. Maybe you’ve heard of him before? He’s a five-time World Challenge winner and sits just five shots back of the lead. On Saturday, Woods got off to the perfect start with a chip-in birdie on the 1st hole en route to a solid 3-under 69.

Woods isn’t the only big name in the contention. Keegan Bradley’s only two back of McDowell; Bo Van Pelt, like Woods, is five back, while Jim Furyk sits six shots off the lead at 7-under.
