If making an albatross is the rarest feat in golf, having both a PGA Tour member and European Tour member make one on the same day is just insane.
It happened on Friday during the second rounds of the European Tour’s Volvo Golf Champions and the PGA Tour’s Sony Open.
We’ve already showed you the video of Joost Luiten’s double-eagle in South Africa, so we now bring you the crazy shot of James Hahn from Hawaii.
Playing the 9th hole at the Waialae Country Club, Hahn hit his second shot just short of the green, watched it pitch up and go directly in for the albatross and a chest-bump celebration (not Hahn’s first impressive celebration).
It isn’t the clearest video in the world, but I actually enjoyed the moments waiting for the ball to land, especially when you know it’s going to go in.
So, Hahn in Hawaii and Joost in South Africa … a pretty good day for ridiculously good golf shots.
