James Hahn holes out for eagle, gives caddie a Lebron-like chest bump

The jumping chest bump has become a universal language in sports, something you see all over the world between teammates celebrating something marvelous. That is, in every sport but golf.

Not a ton of golfers are airing out to bump chests with their caddies, but that changed on Thursday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am when James Hahn broke the mold with his eagle performance.

Hahn was playing the par-5 6th hole at Pebble Beach where he was forced to lay up on the tricky, two-tiered fairway. It proved to be the right play, as his next shot landed a few feet past the pin, backed up ever so slightly and did a “Phil Mickelson at the ’04 Masters” maneuver to find the side door and fall in for the unexpected eagle.

Hahn, a man known for going “Gangnam Style” a year ago at the Waste Management after a birdie on 16, tapped his chest, jumped in the air and gave his caddie the bump, proving that Tiger Woods still might be the best golfer in the world, but James Hahn is leading the PGA Tour in creative celebrations.

Remember, this hole-out is his second impressive one of 2014, with Hahn already carding an albatross at the Sony Open in January. All he needs is a hole-in-one at some point over the rest of his season to complete the hat trick of hole outs.
