Gary Woodland didn’t hit the best tee shot on the sixth hole at PGA National’s Champion Course on Sunday at The Honda Classic. In fact, his ball wound up in a water hazard.
But it wasn’t such a bad tee shot that he couldn’t hit his ball again without a wardrobe adjustment.
So, Woodland took off his socks, shoes and pants to hit his second shot only wearing his golf shirt and underwear. The shot wound up in a greenside bunker, but Woodland was able to get up-and-down for a par.
He put on his pants in time for the bunker shot. After the par, Woodland was even on the round through six holes on a tough scoring day.
