Phil Mickelson got a tough break on Thursday at TPC Scottsdale. The biggest draw in Scottsdale, Ariz. had a putt on his final hole to post the sixth 59 in PGA Tour history, but the putt lipped right back at him, a cruel move by the golf gods.
But lest we forget about 2004, at Augusta National, when Mickelson was still major-less and searching for that breakthrough to get his career to another level. As Doug Ferguson pointed out, Mickelson had a putt on the 18th hole that hit the left lip at Augusta National and went in to win. The video is below.
