The defending Masters champion had a frustrating fourth hole, taking out his anger on some nearby bushes. He immediately grabbed his shoulder afterward and then requested some medical attention on the eighth hole. He ended up posting a one-under 69 on the day. He’s +2 for the tournament.
“It was a little sore on the next tee, but I took some ibuprofen and got a little work done on the 8th tee, and fortunately it started to loosen up as the round went on,” Garcia told Golf.com.
