QUESTION:
I’ve been hitting golf balls off of mats all my life but now all of a sudden maybe 2 weeks ago all I do is top them 10 yards or super slice them 50 yards or chunk them. But on the course I am fine. I just shot an 85 the other day. I don’t understand what is going on. Is it mental?
ANSWER:
Answer by Golfer_2011
It is probably mental. just look up how to keep your head down during the golf swing, the reason why your topping is probably because your looking where the ball is going when you hit it. Next time just step up to the mat with confidence and you’ll do just fine.
