if i understand your question correctly - youre asking for destinations that are not currently hot spots, right?
If thats the case, i say costa rica. thats a growing tourist destination, very US tourist freindly and south america has a growing presence in professional golf.
coasta rica also has the beaches, mountains etc and is really reasonable budget wise.
