What paint is used to write letters on the heads of golf clubs?

QUESTION: Does anyone know what paint is used to write the letters on the heads of golf clubs, the paint is white and a kind of rubbery putty like material. I can't find it on the internet because i don't know the proper name. I want it to restore the lettering on my own clubs. ANSWER:

If the head was stamped the manufacturers used to just rub a little enamel into the stamp and wipe it off. You are probably describing what happens to a decal when its subjected to paint remover.
