Why do rich upper class people always seem to play golf.?
It doesn’t quite seem to be the sport of the ordinary Joe & Mary soap on the street now does it?

The ones that exclusively play golf are elitists. They want to hang with other rich blokes as they perceive they are higher beings than the rest of the mankind.
