Phil Mickelson had a birdie putt on his final hole on Thursday at the Waste Management Open to post the sixth 59 in PGA Tour history. He hit a great putt, it rolled true, but at the last second caught the right lip and curled right back at him.
It was nasty, but Phil still shot a solid 11-under 60 to lead after one round.
