Webb Simpson shanked this shot so badly that he couldn’t even locate it. He ended up double-bogeying the hole, part of a wretched 75 that saw him fall from a tie for first after Day 1 to a tie for 33rd on the leaderboard after Day 2. It’s not a small matter; only the top 30 in the FedExCup standings go on to Atlanta for the Tour Championship
There was a time when such shanks would be nothing but a bad memory. Thanks to the Internet, those days are gone forever. But hey, take heart, Webb … you’ll always have a more awkward video than this out there.
