Podcast: How golf has botched its Olympic opportunity

As more and more players announce they’re taking a pass on the Olympics, it’s becoming clear that golf’s Olympic representatives created the mess the sport is now facing. From the selection of the unappealing format of 72 holes of stroke play to the way Olympic golf was crammed into the existing schedule, the game’s leaders have set the sport up to look bad in Rio.

Then, through the prism of North Carolina’s House Bill 2, we also look at why golf might be hurting itself with young golfers by not taking a social stand.
