From the selection of the unappealing format of 72 holes of stroke play to the way Olympic golf was crammed into the existing schedule, the game’s leaders have set the sport up to look bad in Rio.
Then, through the prism of North Carolina’s House Bill 2, we also look at why golf might be hurting itself with young golfers by not taking a social stand.
