Want to live in Phil Mickelson’s house? Once again, you can owner his Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., home. The nearly 9,200-square-foot house is back on the market once again.
The Tuscan-style home sits on 4.55 acres and has multiple buildings. The main home has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Features include a den, media room, wine cellar, billiard room and exercise room. There’s plenty of attention to detail in the home, as well, including Baccarat crystal and sterling fixtures, Calcutta Oro marble floors and mosaic tile in the shower individually cut and placed by the master stone mason from the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas. There are mahogany doors throughout the home and hand carved walnut panels crown the office ceiling. There are also two guest houses.
The backyard has s a huge pool, spa and a putting green so fast Mickelson has used it to practice for majors. The property has olive and pepper trees, just to complete the feel of an Italian retreat.
The view is pretty spectacular, as shared by Mickelson’s realtor, Jordan Cohen.
Mickelson bought the home in 2001 for $ 5.95 million and began listing it for sale in 2008 at $ 12.225 million. It’s been listed several times since, often with the asking price of $ 7.095 million. The house was last up for sale in March 2014 with a price tag of $ 6.495 million.
But it can all be yours for just $ 5.99 million. Oh, and about $ 75,000 annually in property taxes.
