When did Phil Mickelson become the Andy Roddick of post-round interviews? A day ago Mickelson explained to the Golf Channel after his round how to properly hit a shot off a cart path, and after his second straight 67 gave us an explanation of just how body english works on the golf course.
Mickelson, who is currently T-3 at the WGC-Cadillac Championship, finished his second round on the par-3 9th hole, and his tee shot never left the flag. His ball landed just short, and appeared to be going directly into the center of the cup for a hole-in-one, but stopped just short.
After his round, Mickelson explained what he did to try to get that ball to drop.

“What you missed there was that I gave it a little body wiggle, and usually if you give it a little body wiggle you’ll get an extra foot or two release out of it and I just didn’t quite get it up the hill.”
Mickelson went on to explain — “You see that, I gave the body wiggle and it still didn’t get that extra foot, that’s what I don’t get.”
Please Phil, never change.
