This past week is usually a relaxing one on the PGA Tour considering it’s the week after the final major of the year and a week before the FedEx Cup playoffs begin.
It turned out to be anything but, with Patrick Reed taking out Jordan Spieth in a playoff at the Wyndham Championship.
The shot he hit to set up the winning birdie was the best of the week on the PGA Tour, but it wasn’t the best of the week in golf.
That honor goes to Anna Nordqvist, who made a hole-in-one during her Saturday foursome match at the Solheim Cup to close out the match and gain another point for the European team.
That shot was a pretty good example of just how dominant the Europeans were, winning their first ever Solheim Cup on American soil.
