Celebrate the weekend with 7-year-old’s ‘Thank Golf It’s Friday’ rap

If you grew up in the same generation as me, T.G.I.F. meant sitting in front of the TV and enjoying some ABC comedies. These days, thanks to “Scandal,” the Alphabet’s grateful for its Thursday lineup. However, for a golfer, Friday still means something: it’s almost golf time.

Rapper-golfer Caleb C, who, mind you, is 7 years old, celebrates Fridays in his music video for “Thank Golf It’s Friday,” one of several golf-related rhymes he’s produced. The video celebrates all the fun people have on the golf course on weekends — you know, the kind of stuff you spend a few idle minutes thinking about every day at work.

So take a listen to Caleb. If your hometown hasn’t been sucked into the latest polar vortex, it might inspire you to make a weekend tee time.
